User Experience is an important topic on the web. It’s is all about how we interact with, in this case, a web site. The UXLx Conference is held in Lisbon every year since 2010. I was present this year on Friday, the main conference day.
The conference is put together by Bruno Figueiredo and his team. I interviewed him a while ago about the event. He pays attention to every detail, from the well designed attendee badges, to the side events, to the conference itself. It ran completely on schedule, which is something worthy of note.
The speaker lineup was of great quality. Experts like Mike Monteiro, Ross Unger, Christina Wodtke, Jess McMullin, and Jared Spool talked about UX and design, sharing their experience and many useful examples from the craft.
Everyone left UXLx knowing more about these subjects, and inspired to do more and better for a web that still needs a lot of work done.
